G'day, Wedding Portrait Photos, purveyor of fine wedding imagery and excessive praise. Congratulations on the best constructed comment spam I have ever received.

Just in case anyone else really wants to know the answer to your question, eastern Australia has missed its usual rainy seasons for the past 10 years and the last six years have been the driest ever recorded. Our dams are now below 20% full and serious water restrictions are in place. If it had rained, everyone would have cheered.

I want to know why everyone would cheer if it rained during the wedding. Do you also consider it as a sign of blessing from the heaven? In modern wedding settings, everybody wish for a fair weather. A fair weather promises more fun for everyone attending the wedding. A rainy day, on the other hand, hampers everything. It means No for everything. Also, it means inconvenience for everybody.

I want to congratulate you for those remarkable shots when Stephen and Kate danced. Those photos are perfect! You got it all right – correct timing, proper background, and of course the perfect dancers.

Hi Mez, yep, they were pretty impressive. Stepping on toes is exactly how the rest of us dance.

wow, I wish I could dance like that. Mostly I end up stepping on my partner's toes and then trying to lead.

Steph, I bet you're just saying that because I didn't have to drive home. As it turned out, I had to follow the bride and groom home at 1am in my 4WD carrying all the wedding presents that they couldn't possibly squeeze into their own car. And it had to be done that night because they were flying off to their honeymoon Greek Islands cruise in the morning.

Ashleigh, there are other photos of another part of the yard at the Australia Day Pool Party post.

Very cool indeed, Mike. And a heck of a back-yard.

You want to come and finish mine for me?

Hi Redcap, I did all the original paving (lots of cutting) 25 years ago, but, I have to confess, it was recently re-grouted by a professional.
